Prof Sedoyeka is the Rector of the Institute of Accountancy Arusha (IAA). Eliamani is an ICT Chattered Profession specializing on 3G and 4G Technologies, Security, System Audit, ICT Policies and Quality of Service monitoring for corporate networks. His research interests are into providing connectivity to rural communities, digital divide and Quality of Service (QoS).
As an academician, Prof. Sedoyeka has conducted several researchers to investigate use of ICT, QoS, User Satisfaction and other aspect of the sector where he has published numerous conference and journal papers and two books. Eliamani is also involved in charity works, especially providing computers to schools, which goes hand in hand with providing necessary capacity building to teachers. He has co-founded Datoga Foundation, a nonprofit organization that focuses in assisting education activities for nomadic communities.
Prof. Sedoyeka is a public servant with center-right political orientation that believes in the rights and power of citizens whilst respecting the role of structures and authority. Focusing on social economic activities, Prof. Sedoyeka believes that strengthening household economies is the only way towards building strong national-wide economy. Prof. Sedoyeka believes that though hands-on and technical education, Tanzania youth will be enabled and hence become assets to our economy. In his free time, he plays volleyball and watch news, National Geographic, History and Discovery channels.
